Hi! I'm Ivan, commonly known as is2511 or "is". I write code, mostly. UTC+3 but my sleep schedule is nonexistent.
Big fan of Rust ❤️ Previously wrote a lot of C++. Still write JS/TS. Lua is good. Lua could be the modern day Python if it had the ecosystem, change my mind.
Interested in the Internet, clean code and architecture (especially Rust), software architecture, distributed and decentralised systems, peer-to-peer, free (as in freedom) Internet access, privacy, (F)(O)SS and hardware.
Dabbled in microcontrollers (Arduino, ESP32 ❤️, etc), embedded (Linux), web, DevOps (GitLab CI, social), etc. Mainly backend stuff.
I'm currently working at WB writing Rust code and fighting Ansible.
I've delayed making a personal website long enough, this will have to do. Something deployed is better that everything planned.
